My favorite part of being a Realtor®? Helping people achieve really big dreams. Whether you’re buying a new house, or selling your home, I’m here to help you fulfill your dreams, but I’m also here to make sure you reach those dreams wisely, and will be protecting you every step along the way. My clients trust how I’m taking care of them, and that’s a huge honor for me.
If we are the sum total of our experiences, then my previous jobs as a flight attendant, a legal secretary, personal banker and a contracts administrator, have made me a natural fit to serve my clients as a Realtor®.
When I help you buy or sell your home, I bring a combination of customer service, attention to detail (love contracts!), plenty of negotiation skills, and a little southern charm (I was born in Atlanta and lived in the south until moving to Tacoma when I was 13.)
I got into real estate because I was tired of the daily Seattle commute and wanted to get into a field where I could offer a high level of customer service that my legal and banking experience would compliment. As a self-certified ‘people person’, working in real estate seemed like the perfect choice, and I’ve never looked back, proudly helping people achieve really big dreams – one property at a time – since 2003!
When I’m working on your behalf, whether it’s presenting an offer or managing a contract, one of the biggest assets I offer you is my thorough knowledge of contracts, along with a keen eye for all the details, including the ‘small print’. It’s my responsibility to be very familiar with your real estate contract details so that I can better communicate and help you understand the process you’re going through. Because you can rely on me to do this, you benefit from a lower risk for either your home purchase or sale. You can also rely on me to never miss a deadline you may have in a contract. Throughout our working relationship, I’ll provide you with plenty of education, as well as clear communication to help you fulfill your real estate dreams and goals.
As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) I have the specialized experience to focus on the real estate needs of seniors and their families. Getting older is a challenge for everyone, especially for seniors who are living in longtime family homes, where they have so many happy memories. If you’re a senior, or you’re helping a loved one downsize, the senior real estate services I offer are another way I help my clients get from where they are now to where they want to be. I enjoy working with and helping seniors, which started when I was 13 and volunteered in a nursing home, so I’ve always had a soft spot for seniors.
I have 3 kids, 5 grandchildren and I’ve been married for 25+ years. When I’m not helping clients fulfill their real estate needs, you’ll find me hanging out with my family, playing games, or doing a little fishing or crabbing (another great reason to live along the Puget Sound!).
I love musicals and played the piano growing up, as well as singing in choir and swing choir. Chances are good that you may catch me humming a tune from time to time.
I’m ending on a musical note, which is perfect timing since music is about harmony, and so is real estate. For you to have a great real estate experience, my team has to function with perfect harmony. We’ve put the right systems in place, so you’ll always know that you’re being cared for and that you never need to worry about hitting any wrong notes. Much like listening to great music, we want you to always have a great experience while you’re working with us and then, when we’ve fulfilled your goals, to remember us fondly, just like you do when you remember a great song!
